Student Impact Grant Application
Grant applications are reviewed by the Fort Osage Education Foundations’ Board of Directors twice a year. Grants are awarded in November and February.
The Foundation awards at least $3,000 in the Fall and Spring. We strive to award as many mini-grants ($500 or less) and do not fully fund larger grants more than $1,000. If your request exceeds $1,000, please contact Stephanie Smith at [email protected] to discuss.
The Foundation reviews all technology-related grants with the District’s Director of Technology to ensure that the request may not be covered by future plans and is compatible with current systems.
A short summary of the funded activity is required one month after the completion. Action photos and/or videos are strongly encouraged and may be used in future promotional materials. Applicants who were previously awarded grants within the past or current school year, who have not submitted this summary, are not eligible to reapply.

Music Impacts Learning
” My goal was for students to have more time to practice and experiment on a keyboard. They not only learned a new skill, but felt more prepared to perform at the end of session recital. “
