Fort Osage Education Foundation SUPPLY DRIVE

The 2021-2022 school year is set to begin on Monday, August 23, 2021. With your help, the Fort Osage Education Foundation wants to provide our families with a head start. We are launching a K-6 Back-To-School Supply Drive. Please consider joining this effort, our kids need you!

The Fort Osage Education Foundation has set a goal to raise $10,000 to help 400 students. We understand times are tough and appreciate any support you provide. With everyone lending a hand, we’re hopeful to meet our goal to help our students get off to a successful start by equipping them with essential school supplies.

Donations of any size are welcome. A $25 gift will cover school supplies for one student, $50 will sponsor two students, etc. Click here to see all tier options and make a donation.

#GivingTuesday

GivingTuesday is November 30, 2021.

GivingTuesday falls the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is recognized globally. The event kicks off the charitable season, as many plan their end-of-the-year gifts. Your gift to the Foundation supports students, teachers, and the community.

The Fort Osage Education Foundation welcomes your support. Student scholarships, classroom grants for teachers, and building infrastructure improvements are among the ways your donations are used.

Mission Focused

Your Support Fuels Our Mission

The Fort Osage Education Foundation’s mission is to oversee the investment of existing scholarship money, approve the distribution of scholarships, and build philanthropic support. This support directly impacts our students, teachers, the Fort Osage School District, and the community it serves.

Poetic Voices

The Power of Words

“Whether our students are going to college, the military, or entering the workforce, they need to understand the value and importance of their voice. Much of our students’ worlds are surrounded by poetry and lyrics. Through teaching modern poetry, students are exposed to writers advocating for social change, exploring common themes, and investigating the unknown. “
