We have several important announcements to share with you!
First, we are proud to be a sponsor of the State of the District this year. Please check back soon for an important message from the Superintendent, Dr. Snodgrass.
In addition, we are also releasing our annual report for 2020 which highlights our many achievements over the past year. We invite you to read through this detailed report.
Finally, we anticipate another great year in 2021. Be sure to save the date for our Annual Golf Tournament set for Monday, June 7, 2021. Registration and sponsorship opportunities will be available soon!
Thank you for your continued interest in supporting students and teachers in the Fort Osage School District.
Gifts to the Foundation provide scholarships to deserving seniors, award classroom grants to teachers, and support the District’s special projects. In the past, this has included expansion of the multipurpose building and athletic facilities.
GivingTuesday is November 30, 2021.
GivingTuesday falls the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is recognized globally. The event kicks off the charitable season, as many plan their end-of-the-year gifts. Your gift to the Foundation supports students, teachers, and the community.
The Fort Osage Education Foundation welcomes your support. Student scholarships, classroom grants for teachers, and building infrastructure improvements are among the ways your donations are used.
Your Support Fuels Our Mission
The Fort Osage Education Foundation’s mission is to oversee the investment of existing scholarship money, approve the distribution of scholarships, and build philanthropic support. This support directly impacts our students, teachers, the Fort Osage School District, and the community it serves.
The Power of Words
“Whether our students are going to college, the military, or entering the workforce, they need to understand the value and importance of their voice. Much of our students’ worlds are surrounded by poetry and lyrics. Through teaching modern poetry, students are exposed to writers advocating for social change, exploring common themes, and investigating the unknown. “
